The creator and brain child of “Sea Hunt” the weekly Underwater hit TV show, was Mr. Ivan Tors. Mr. Tors was a very bright and creative Hungarian born play write, screenwriter, television, film director and producer. Mr. Tors created and developed TV programs and characters that today make up the fabric of our pop culture. “Sea Hunt” the weekly TV show is a perfect example of the creative imagination and insight of a great thinker who was ahead of his time. Mr. Tors life’s work reflects someone who values honesty, integrity, justice and most of all, humanity. At the end of each Sea Hunt episode, a positive message or helpful SCUBA tip was delivered by Mr. Bridges aboard his faithful vessel ARGONAUT. These valuable messages and tips were meant to be learned and hopefully turned into practice by everyone who tuned into their favorite weekly action-packed TV show.

Producer Fredrick Ziv
Thankfully “Sea Hunt” was eventually able to be seen globally through the production talents of another respected individual with his finger firmly positioned on the pulse of this relatively new medium innovation we so depended on called, “Television“. His name is Mr. Frederick Ziv This mild mannered and soft spoken gentleman along with his independent television production company has made it so that “Sea Hunt” has never and will never cease airing on television. Upon completion of the fourth and final season of filming at the end of 1961, Sea Hunt went straight into syndication and has remained there ever since. Mr. Ziv has been credited and is considered the father of what is known today as, “first run syndication“. By the power of Syndication, somewhere in some parts of our country, and for sure in many parts of the world, “Sea Hunt” is playing on a television set in some families Living room at this moment, right now.
